“Six years ago today, my life wasn’t just changed—it was saved.

I was 43 years old, 305 pounds, and hated everything about myself. I pretended everything was fine to my family and friends, but inside I was breaking. My physical and mental health were at rock bottom.

It all came to a head the day I considered ending it all.

But I chose to live. And that same day, I saw a post from @nickkoumalatsos and @joshhonsberger on Instagram asking, ‘Do you want to change your life?’

It was the sign I needed. I joined The Agoge—and everything changed.

I stopped living a life of comfort, complacency, and indulgence…
And I started living with discipline and purpose.

I lost 110 pounds.
I learned how to fuel my body, train with intent, and most of all—how to become the man and father I was meant to be.

Now, at almost 49 years old, I’m doing things that would’ve killed my younger self.
I train daily. I roll jiu jitsu multiple times a week.
I eat clean, live with intention, and focus every day on being a better man—for me, and for those around me.”
