Don’t Be the Guy Who Pisses on the Seat

I walked into my gym the other day and saw mud tracked all over the place. Someone just left it there, expecting someone else to deal with it.

Maybe they didn’t think twice about it.

That’s exactly the problem.

How we do anything is how we do everything.

It’s the same mentality as the guy who pisses on the toilet seat and walks away—like it’s someone else’s job to clean up after him. The guy who sees trash on the ground and steps over it. The guy who makes a mess and just moves on.

We’ve all seen it.

Kirk Weisler wrote about it in The Dog Poop Initiative—the world is full of poopers who create messes and pointers who complain about them. But what we actually need more of are scoopers—the people who step up, take initiative, and make things better.

So, which one are you?

This isn’t about mud on the floor or piss on the seat. It’s about a mindset. It’s about owning your space, your actions, and the standard you live by.

Winners in life—the ones who build great businesses, strong families, and unshakable discipline—are the scoopers. They take action. They don’t make excuses. They don’t wait for someone else to handle it.

The world doesn’t need more poopers. It needs leaders. It needs scoopers.

Take a look around you. Are you leaving things better than you found them? Or are you the guy who pisses on the seat and walks away?
